today i am ::

spoiling for a fight

with my daughter’s doctor

it is a frustrating thing

that the *experts* always expect you to take them at their word, to not question their judgment or authority.

but that’s just not me.

i go to you because you are the expert

but i don’t go blind

and i don’t expect to leave blind

today i am ::

going to get some answers . . .

    I am pleased o hear it – it is such a pity that so many doctors become arrogant and condescending. We pay their salaries one way or another – and just as a matter of courtesy they should explain things and give us the opportunity to ask questions. Surely it’s part of the hypocratic oath (ethical treatment of patients)? Although apparently, these days they don’t have to swear it. That explains a lot – doesn’t it?

    Thinking if you all.

    we did get our answers.

    most of them, anyway.

    the doc was not able to look at the disks we brought back from philly on his computer at the hospital (he will have to take it back to his office) but he took the time to explain things to us.

    you can read about it on my wife’s blog :: here
